Police Urge Caution As Snow Falls In Moorestown

MOORESTOWN, NJ — The first accident of Friday's snowstorm in Moorestown was on Kings Highway, but there were no injuries, according to Moorestown police. Police are cautioning residents to slow down and arrive at their destination safely as the forecast calls for between 1 and 3 inches of snow in South Jersey.

The right lane of Route 38 is also closed for electrical repairs and emergency construction, according to 511nj.org. It is expected to be closed until about 8 p.m.

Other traffic incidents in Burlington County related to the snow include:

• As of 4:33pm, there are Delays on NJ 70 eastbound approaching N. Elmwood Rd in Evesham Twp delays due to volume.
• As of 4:31pm, there are Delays on I-295 southbound from Exit 43 - CR 838/Creek Rd in Mount Laurel Twp to Exit 26S - NJ 42/I-76/I-676 in Bellmawr delays due to volume.
• As of 4:08pm, there are Delays on NJ 73 in both directions between CR 544/Evesham Rd/Marlton Pkwy in Evesham Twp and NJ 38 in Maple Shade Twp delays due to volume.
• As of 3:19pm, there are Delays on the New Jersey Turnpike inside exit Interchange 4 - NJ 73 in Mount Laurel Twp due to volume.
