Potential Threat at Moorestown High School Resolved: Police
Moorestown Police worked quickly to resolve a possible threat that emerged at the high school Tuesday night.

Moorestown Police have resolved a potential threat at the high school.
Police say they were made aware of a potential threat against at least one student at the high school on Tuesday night.
Officers began investigating immediately and worked overnight to identify a 17-year-old boy as the sole source of the threats, police said early Wednesday morning.

That teenager has been detained and is undergoing evaluation.
“The threat targeted one and possibly one other student,” Acting Police Director Lt. Lee Lieber said Wednesday morning. “This was an actual threat made by the subject.”

Lieber said police were made aware of the threat when they received a phone call from a student at the high school Tuesday evening.
Police continue to investigate, but say there is no further threat to the students and teachers at the high school.
