GOP Trio Leads Moorestown Council Primary, Set To Face Incumbents
Sam Foster, Nicole MacHenry and Gary Morris held a major lead with all districts reporting results in the contested Republican race.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — With all districts reporting results, the GOP ticket of Sam Foster, Nicole MacHenry and Gary Morris held a significant lead in the Moorestown Township Council's Republican primary election.
The Republican Party had a contested primary for council, with two sets of three candidates running for the governing body's three available seats. MacHenry, Foster and Morris combined for roughly 70 percent of the votes in the GOP primary.

The trio, running on the "Burlington County Regular Republican Organization" ticket, faced Peter H. Miller, Christopher D. Emmert and Noreen P. Fitzgerald, who all ran under the "Republicans to Correct Irresponsible Actions" banner.
Meanwhile, the Democratic party had an uncontested primary. Council Members Sue Mammarella and Christopher Keating ran alongside James A. Barry.

The Democratic candidates received 5,642 votes, while the Republican field combined for 4,307. All results remain unofficial until certified on a later date. See the results below.
