Record Number of Players Set for Fall Soccer Season in Moorestown
The Department of Parks and Recreation stage their third annual Kick-Off Saturday.

The Moorestown Department of Parks and Recreation kicks off the soccer season this weekend.
The third annual Soccer Kick-Off event is Saturday, Sept. 6.
The upcoming season will be the biggest ever for the department, with more than 470 children set to play fall soccer, according to the department.

The Kick-Off is a way to build community awareness and get the season started. It will provide teams a chance to meet, receive shirts and get information about schedules.
Additionally, the Recreation Department will again partner with community collaborating non-profits, including: Live Civilly, Sean Fischel Connect and The Perfect Game.

Each non-profit serves the Moorestown by helping youth and families grow.
Those attending are reminded of the following outreach opportunities:
· Attendees are asked to bring non-perishable food items for donation to Live Civilly. All donations assist local families through the Live Civilly/Moorestown Ministerium Food Pantry.
· Attendees are asked to bring gently worn/used sports equipment for the Sports Swap, hosted by The Perfect Game.
· Attendees are asked to visit the Sean Fischel Connect table to sign up for the Sean Fischel 5K and Fun run - proceeds to benefit local programs.

9:00-9:50 Girls Kindergarten & Girls 1st Grade
10:00-10:50 Boys Kindergarten & Boys 1st Grade
11:00-11:50 Girls Grades 2-6
12:00-12:50 Boys Grades 2-6
Recreation Staff will be on hand to answer questions.
