Reminder: MFS Building Dedication Today
The school will dedicate its first new classroom building in a half-century.
(MFS) will dedicate Hartman Hall, , at 1:30 p.m. today.
The building contains eight math classrooms, along with a choral music suite, technology lab, conference room, student lounge, faculty workroom, office space and student lockers. . Hartman will be in attendance at today's dedication, as will the entire student body, according to a release from the school.
Work began on the building in July 2011—approximately three years after Greenleaf Retirement Community closed. It is the first new building at MFS in 50 years (the Lower School opened in the 1960s).

The ceremony today will include a “cupola topping” via crane.
