Report Ranks Moorestown 'Best Place To Live In Burlington County'
Niche ranked the Best Places to Live in 2021. See where Moorestown was ranked.
MOORESTOWN, NJ — There’s no better place to live in Burlington County than Moorestown, according to a recent report that ranks the Best Places to Live in 2021.
Moorestown was ranked the No. 1 place to live in Burlington County and 36th in the state by Niche.com. The consumer rankings service assigned a grade, on an A+-to-D- scale, to almost every town in the state. Princeton Junction was ranked No. 1.
Moorestown received an A+ in the new rankings. To arrive at the rankings, Niche.com took several factors into consideration, such as the quality of local schools, crime rates, housing trends, employment statistics and access to amenities.

Niche created a standardized score for each factor, and after weighting each factor, an overall score was calculated, which was again given a new standardized score.
Finally, Niche.com created a numerical ranking and assigned grades for each place. Click here to read more about the methodology.

Moorestown received an A+ for public schools and for being good for families; an A for health and fitness and for outdoor activities; an A- for jobs; a B+ for nightlife and for commute; a B for housing and for diversity; and a B- for crime and safety and for weather; and a C+ for cost of living.

“Living in Moorestown Township offers residents a sparse suburban feel and most residents own their homes. In Moorestown Township there are a lot of restaurants, coffee shops, and parks. Residents of Moorestown Township tend to lean conservative. The public schools in Moorestown Township are highly rated.”
