Resident and staff teams of two golfers each competed in a nine-hole tournament, with Security Officer Bruce McGarvey and residents Bob and Dolores Byrnes emerging as the top-scoring golfers.

The Evergreens hosts golf tournaments throughout the spring and summer seasons. Winners qualify for a spot in the 6th Annual Pneumonia Open later this month – a culmination of the season’s mini tournaments.
