Rhoads Wins Moorestown Rotary Clubs 'Leadership in Service' Award
Rotarian William "Bill" Rhoads has received the "Leadership in Vocational Service" from the Rotary Club of Moorestown.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — Rotarian William “Bill” Rhoads has received the “Leadership in Vocational Service” from the Rotary Club of Moorestown, the club announced.
Rhoads, who owns and manages Rhoads Metal Works in Pennsauken, a business founded by his great grandfather in 1896, was honored for the high ethical standards he employs in business dealings and his mentorship of employees. Within his industry, he works actively to promote health and safety standards.
A Rotarian for 20 years, he runs the club’s annual Red Cross Blood Drive and volunteers at the South Jersey Food Bank and Ronald McDonald House. Rhoads and his service dog, Dusty, entertain at senior centers and nursing homes.

Most recently, he brought Dusty to a Gingerbread House-making party at the Community House sponsored by Moorestown Rotary for 30 children from Sacred Heart School in Camden.
“Bill is a man of action,” Moorestown Rotary President Amy Webb said. “He is an inspiration for co-workers, clients and the Rotarians in our club.”

The Rotary Club of Moorestown welcomes new members to its meetings and programs Thursdays at 12:15 p.m. at the Moorestown Community House.
