Rotary Club Donates $20,000 in Scholarships to Graduating Moorestown High School Seniors
5 seniors each received $4,000 in scholarships.

Moorestown, NJ -- The Moorestown Rotary Breakfast Club, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. recently donated a total of $20,000 in scholarships to five Moorestown High School graduating seniors.
It was the largest donation the club has ever made, according to Moorestown Rotary Club President Scott Aschoff. Club membership is up 20 percent, with a total of 70 local businesses involved.
“Our club has been identifying Moorestown students who have excelled academically, volunteered in the local community, and are pursuing vocational majors for over a two decades,” Aschoff said. “ … We encourage those graduating seniors who are pursuing a vocational careers to apply with the guidance department for a scholarship next year."

The graduates who received scholarships included:
- Bryan Wright Jr, who will attend the University of Tampa;
- Maxwell Young, who will attend Stockton;Â
- Tjjani Bullock, who will attend Temple;Â
- Mary Lower, who will attend Rowan; andÂ
- Brett Seifried, who will attend Penn State. Â
Each graduating senior received a $4,000 scholarship.

In addition to the scholarship money, the Moorestown Rotary Breakfast Club has funded many local individual charities this year.
This includes the YMCA - Camp No Worries, Moorestown Citizen of the Year, 160 BackPack’s filled with $7000 of School supplies for 2 decades for students in town, Power up Gambia - Solar Panels, Curing Polio via Rotary International,Community Treatment Solutions, American Cancer Society - Relay for Life, Burlington County Sheriff - Project Life Saver, Moorestown Police Department - Policy Unity Tour, Navajo Nation Clean Water Program, 2 AED's for the practice fields in Moorestown,  and $10,000 pledged to the Moorestown Community House over 5 years to help refurbish the building. The club also received a proclamation from the mayor.
Aschoff’s term will come to an end on June 30. Dr. Ben Blank will be the club’s next president.
