Safe Stolen During Home Burglary in Moorestown: Police

Police are investigating the incident.

Moorestown, NJ -- Moorestown Police are investigating a burglary in which a safe was stolen from a home while the residents were away.

The burglary/theft took place on the 700 block of Commonwealth Drive between March 16 and 21, police said Wednesday morning.

Police advise anyone who is going away to take steps to keep their home safe. This includes leaving lights on a timer, checking to see if doors are locked, setting an alarm, and taking advantage of the vacation/away house check program.
