School Improvements on Schedule in Moorestown

Voters approved work during a referendum in September.

Projects approved during September’s referendum begin in the Moorestown School District on June 22, according to the construction calendar posted on the school’s website. All projects are scheduled to be complete by the end of the year.

Projects are taking place at each of the district’s schools and include security vestibules, various upgrades, and roof replacements throughout the district.

Voters approved the referendum that included two questions in September.

The total cost of the projects is about $42.8 million, according to the Moorestown Sun. A presentation made during the most recent school board meeting indicated the projects were “on time and under budget,” according to the report.
