Science and Engineering Expo at Moorestown Friends April 16

Students in grades 5-12 will showcase more than 200 displays of science at the expo.

Students in grades 5-12 will showcase more than 200 displays of science learning for faculty, families, and younger students during the Moorestown Friends School’s 17th annual Science and Engineering Exposition (S.E.E.) on Thursday, April 16.

S.E.E. will be held in the Red Gym, the Field House Gym, and the Practice Gym at the school, 9 a.m.-12:45 p.m.

Highlights will include electrically wired models built by the fifth grade, a volcano exhibit hosted by the sixth grade, and an explanation by the ninth grade of the pros and cons of bringing back the woolly mammoth. Upper Elementary School students will show younger students the chemistry of cooking, Arduino-controlled miniature displays, and novel designs of urban spaces based on the Knights Foundation Cities Challenge.
