MOORESTOWN, NJ — Welcome to the June 6 edition of Monday Manual, where we highlight events coming up this week in and around Moorestown.
Some of the events include the Second Street Market in Moorestown and a Star Wars-themed day at the township's library.
On Thursday at 10 a.m., the second week of Burlington County's Senior Citizens Art Show gets underway at the Worker's House Gallery at Historic Smithville Park.

Also on Thursday, but at 5 p.m., at 111 W. Second St. in Moorestown, the Second Street Market — and the food trucks, beer gardens, games and music that comes with it — gets underway.
On Saturday at 8:30 a.m. at Strawbridge Lake Park, the 4th annual Moorestown Paddle Boad/Kayak Race and Family Festival begins.

Also on Saturday, but at 10 a.m., Moorestown Library welcomes Star Wars characters. Then at 11 a.m., the library will show "Star Wars: A New Hope." Dressing in costume is encouraged.
