Services Set For Longtime Active Member Of Moorestown Community
George Honeyford, 98, was the oldest living member of the Moorestown Rotary Club.
George J. Honeyford died on Oct. 28, 2019, at the age of 98. George was a longtime resident of Moorestown, NJ. He was a longtime active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Moorestown where he served in many capacities over the years.
He was the oldest living member and past president of the Moorestown Rotary Club. Over the years he served as Chairman (President) of United Way, Member of Governor's Commission on Human Resources, Member Industrial Development Committee, Moorestown, Member of the Recreation Committee, Moorestown, Elder: First Presbyterian Church of Moorestown and Moorestown Field Club.
Husband of Mildred "Mitzi" (nee Schutz) for 71 years. Father of Peter Honeyford and his wife Cyndie, George Richard Honeyford and his wife Mary and Patricia Honeyford Canton and her husband Paul. Grandfather of Katelyn Brady and her husband Matthew, Kelsey Honeyford,
Delaney Honeyford, Elizabeth Hagan and her husband Tim, Benjamin Honeyford and his wife
