Services Set For Man Known As 'Your Personal Grocer'

Robert B. Powell Jr., of Medford, NJ, passed away on Jan. 12, 2018, at the age of 67. Robert had been active with the Boys Scouts and was a member of Maple Shade Moose Lodge # 2682. He enjoyed fishing and was a gentleman farmer. He will be missed by his neighbors and remembered as their personal green grocer.

Robert was predeceased by his parents Robert B. Powell Sr. and Pearl I Powell. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Bonnie Powell (nee Maines). His children Brenda Lyn Emmert and her husband Chris, Kimberly Timmons Galiazzi and her husband Jason. Wonderful Grandfather to his adoring Granddaughter’s Emma Jae and Ally Mae. Brother of Cynthia Powell and Scott Powell. Also survived by his nieces Rachel McEwan Barkenhagen, Ashley Fudurich and Heather Pearson.

Memorial service is Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. at the Lewis Funeral Home, 78 East Main Street, Moorestown, NJ. 08057. Visitation is 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Fox Chase Cancer, 333 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111-2497.
