Services Set For Moorestown Woman Who Died At 92

Marie S. McChesney (nee Stewart), age 92, of Moorestown, NJ passed away in the comfort of her own home with loving family by her side on Sunday, December 17, 2017.

Mrs. McChesney was born in Philadelphia, PA and had resided in Moorestown for 60 years. She was a member of Our Lady Good Counsel Church and enjoyed following the Philadelphia Phillies and playing bridge. Her greatest pleasure was spending time with her family and she will be deeply missed by those she leaves behind.

Marie was predeceased by her beloved spouse, John “Jack” McChesney, Jr. She is survived by her children, John (Roxanne), Cathleen Renner (Fritz), Dennis, Maureen Moorer (Bob), Caroline Haschert (Rhys), Gerry, Michele Bancroft (John); 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Friends and family are invited to viewings on Wednesday, December 20, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and again on Thursday, December 21, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at noon on Thursday, December 21, at Our Lady Good Counsel RC Church, 42 W. Main Street, Moorestown, NJ 08057.
