Services Set For Vietnam War Vet From Moorestown
Thomas R. Hahn, formerly of Moorestown, New Jersey, passed away on June 25, 2019, in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. He was 73 years old.
Thomas R. Hahn, formerly of Moorestown, New Jersey, passed away on June 25, 2019, in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. He was 73 years old.
He is survived by his two sons, Andrew and Brian of Jacksonville Beach, brothers Martin T. Hahn of Oaklyn, New Jersey, the late Edward N. Hahn of Moorestown, New Jersey, James J. Hahn of Marlton, New Jersey and Charles R. Hahn of Moorestown, New Jersey. His deceased parents are Martin J. Hahn and Anne M Hahn longtime residents of Moorestown, New Jersey.
Tom was a 1963 graduate of Moorestown High School, where he was a member of the varsity football team and President of the Future Teachers of America Club.

Tom served his nation during the Vietnam War while in the US Navy. He graduated from The Naval Air Photography schools in Patuxent River, Maryland, Pensacola Florida and latter assigned duty at Roosevelt Roads in Puerto Rico.
He graduated from Glassboro State College in 1972 with a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts.

He was an expert cabinet maker in high school under the esteemed teacher Mr. Larry Diehl and created many masterpieces. He built magnificent homes on the St. Johns River in Jacksonville Beach as well as on the cliffs of Bar Harbor, Maine.
In his later years Tom turned to real estate investing in the greater Jacksonville area working with major developers.
