Seven Candidates Pursue Three Seats on Moorestown BOE

Seven candidates are running for three open seats on the Moorestown School District’s Board of Education in November. None of them are the incumbents.

Ann Marie Casinelli, Frank Gilanelli, Jack Lance, Peter Palko, Andrew Roberts, Caryn Shaw and Maurice Richard Weeks III will run for the three seats that each carry a three-year term, according to the Burlington County Times.

Those seats are currently occupied by Donald D. Mishler, A. Leigh Powell and Christina Zajac. The school district’s website lists 2014 as the end of term for all three board members, and none filed to run for re-election by Monday’s deadline.

Mishler is the current Board President.
