Shooting Victim Crashes, Dies At Hospital In Burlington Co.: Prosecutor
The man was shot at an apartment complex and then crashed shortly after attempting to drive away, authorities said.
EASTAMPTON, NJ — A man got shot Saturday at a Burlington County apartment complex and then crashed while driving away, authorities said. Christian Kurtz later died at the hospital, according to the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office (BCPO).
The fatal shooting of Kurtz, 26, remains under investigation. No arrests have been announced as of Monday.
Just before 7:15 p.m. Saturday, police were called to a crash at the intersection of Hedding-Jacksonville Road and Welsford Way in Eastampton.

The preliminary investigation revealed that Kurtz had been shot at the nearby Eastampton Gardens apartment complex, the BCPO said. Kurtz, of Willingboro, then drove a short distance before hitting another vehicle, according to law enforcement.
The victim was transported to Virtua Mount Holly Hospital, where he died about 30 minutes later, the BCPO said. The Burlington County Medical Examiner's Office performed an autopsy on Sunday.
