Shoplifting Incidents Highlight Moorestown Police Weekly Crime Log
Moorestown Police release their weekly activity report.

Moorestown, NJ -- A Sicklerville man was charged with attempting to get away with about $300 in theft from the Moorestown Mall, Moorestown Police said Friday morning.
First, 25-year-old Qwazique Poole was charged with theft by deception on Dec. 8. He allegedly took items and attempted to return merchandise for $58.96 worth of store credit at Boscov’s on Dec. 3.
Two days later, he was charged with shoplifting. This time, he allegedly concealed four Nautica sweaters worth $258.48 in a Macy’s shopping, also on Dec. 3.

Other incidents reported by Moorestown Police Friday morning include:
- Scott Evans, 48, of Philadelphia, Pa., was charged with shoplifting on Dec. 11. Evans allegedly concealed four coats worth a total of $539.96 in a plastic bag from Marshall’s Department Store on Route 38. He was committed to the Burlington County Jail on $2,500 bail.
- Meghan Cronin, 26, of Mt Laurel, was charged with shoplifting on Dec. 13. She allegedly concealed clothing worth $268.84 in her handbag from Boscov’s Dept Store in the Moorestown Mall. After taking the clothes, she then allegedly attempted to return the merchandise. Cronin was released on a summons.
- Chatel Weikel, 20, of Pennsauken was charged with theft for allegedly taking a gift card and a pair of shoes for total value of $301.37 from Marshalls Department Store on Route 38 on Dec. 14. Incidents took place on Dec. 1 and 2, while she was employed there. She was released on a summons.
