Sierra Grand Opening At Moorestown Mall Set For March 9

MOORESTOWN, NJ — Sierra is set to open at the Moorestown Mall. The outdoor recreation store will hold its grand opening on March 9. Store owners TJX will donate a $10,000 check to KaBOOM as part of the celebration, according to the store owners.

The grand opening celebration will take place from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. The store, which will occupy 14,400 square feet, is set to join HomeSense in the spot formerly occupied by Macy’s.

Its products include outdoor recreation, fitness and adventure gear, along with apparel, clothes, footwear and home decor. Founded in 1986, it has 35 stores in Wyoming, Nevada, Idaho, Colorado, Utah, Minnesota, Connecticut and Washington state.

“Sierra provides excellent value and selection on the top brands for all your active and outdoor lifestyle needs,” Sierra Marketing Director Gennifer Hobbs said. “We believe everyone can participate in outdoor and fitness activities, and want our products to feel accessible to everyone who walks through our doors or shops our site online.”

TJX is donating $10,000 to KaBOOM!, the national nonprofit dedicated to giving all kids – particularly those growing up in poverty – great, safe places to play. The grand opening celebration will also include giveaways, music and more.

The store’s regular hours will be Sunday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Those who purchase items online will benefit from free shipping and returns to store.
