PASADENA, CA — A teen from Mount Laurel appeared on the 17th season of the NBC show "America's Got Talent" this week.

"I've seen so many other amazingly talented artists come on the show and have their dreams come true so I hope it's the same case for me," Camille K, 16, said before singing her first song.

However, based on one of the judge's reactions, she appeared to stumble a bit with the first song she sang.

"That was okay. You have a nice voice," Simon Cowell, that judge, and a former record producer, said. "My only issue is you need to ... stand out."

Thus, Camille K sang a second song — a tune she said she wrote called "Still in Love" —winning him and all the other judges over.

"I thought that your voice was much more than beautiful. I thought it was spectacular," said Sofia Vergara, actress and another one of the show's judges.

Cowell added that he was impressed with Camille K's second song, saying "as with all artists, it's about finding a song that defines you."

Cowell, Vergara and Heidi Klum —a model and another show judge —each gave Camille K's overall performance "yeses," meaning she makes it to the next round of the competition.
