Star Wars Events Come To South Jersey Saturday
The events will take place at Moorestown Library ... not in a galaxy far, far away.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — Several Star Wars-themed events will be held at the Moorestown Library Saturday.
At 10 a.m., there will be a meet and greet and photo opportunities with characters, perhaps Darth Vader, Stormtroopers, Kylo Ren, Luke Skywalker, and Jawas, said Reference Librarian and admitted Star Wars fan Joanne Parra.
There will also be an opportunity to make a "cool" craft, she said.

Then at 11 a.m., the library will show "A New Hope," which Parra said she chose to commemorate the 45th anniversary of the film's premiere and its status as the film "that started it all."
Parra told Patch she has wanted to have a Star Wars-type day at the library. She described what finally made the event possible.

All ages are welcome, and dressing in costume is perfectly acceptable, according to Parra.
"The 501st Legion is a worldwide volunteer organization of Star Wars fans who do costumed appearances, often for charities," she said. "When Joan forwarded an email from another library director who is a member, I jumped at the chance [to do an event]."
