Sustainable Moorestown Arts Committee to Hold First Public Meeting
All in Moorestown's Creative Community Are Invited

Moorestown, NJ -- Statistics show that a thriving creative environment is key to maintaining a vibrant and sustainable community. With this in mind, Sustainable Moorestown (part of the statewide Sustainable Jersey initiative) created a subcommittee devoted to representing, supporting, and providing opportunities for the township’s arts population.
The Sustainable Moorestown Arts Committee (SMAC) will host its first community meeting Wednesday, Feb. 24, 7 p.m. in Moorestown’s Town Hall.
All artists over 18 in any medium, as well as educators and volunteers in the arts and arts venue managers, are invited to attend the meeting.

At the meeting, they will have a chance to network and share ideas, as well as learn about proposed upcoming events and hear the first results of SMAC’s online survey.
The survey was developed to discern the needs and priorities of the arts community. The short survey is still actively gathering information, and those interested can take it here: www.surveymonkey.com/r/MoorestownCreates.
