Teen Biker Seriously Injured During Highway Crash In Burlington Co.: Police

The boy, 14, was struck while crossing Route 38, authorities said.

SOUTHAMPTON, NJ — A teen biker sustained serious injuries after colliding with a vehicle in Burlington County, authorities said.

The crash occurred at about 6:30 p.m. Friday on Route 38 West in Southampton. A 14-year-old boy was brought to the hospital, according to State Police.

A Dodge passenger vehicle was traveling westbound, colliding with the boy as he crossed Route 38, said State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron. His current condition remains unclear.
