Theft, Attempted Shoplifting Highlight Moorestown Police Report
Moorestown Police release their weekly activity report.

The following information was provided by Moorestown Police:
A purse, wallet, assorted cards and ID, $40 in cash and an iPhone charger were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway of a home on St Anthony’s Drive on Feb. 21. The purse was recovered in the woods behind residence with contents missing.
Old Navy banned an unnamed man from its store following an attempted shoplifting incident reported on Feb. 28. The person reportedly took a $12 ball cap into the dressing room, removed the tag and placed the hat on his head. He then reporteldy put his sweatshirt hood on and went to the register to pay for other clothing. Old Navy did not want to sign complaints.

A bag of books from Barnes and Noble and the receipt were stolen from an unlocked car on Farmdale Road during the early morning hours of March 2. The thief attempted to return the books, but Barnes and Noble contacted the victim and the items were returned.
