Tommy's Tavern + Tap Sets Opening Date For Its 1st South Jersey Restaurant
The emerging restaurant chain opened several eateries throughout NJ during the COVID crisis, when much of the industry struggled.

MOUNT LAUREL, NJ — An emerging restaurant chain will soon open its first South Jersey eatery, with Tommy's Tavern + Tap set to bring its family-friendly flair to Mount Laurel.
The new eatery will open at 4 p.m. June 28 in the Centerton Square Shopping Complex (40 Centerton Rd.), the business announced on social media.
Tommy's Tavern prides itself on having something for everyone, including pizza, sushi, wings and alcoholic beverages. The family-run eatery materialized early in the COVID-19 pandemic, opening several restaurants around New Jersey during a difficult time in the industry. Tommy's Tavern currently has seven eateries in New Jersey, one in Staten Island and another in Delaware.

Founder Thomas Bonfiglio died last July at age 62, but his family continues to run the business and carry his legacy.
In 2021, Bonfiglio told Patch that Tommy's has something for everyone on the menu, plus a multi-generational atmosphere.

"You can literally walk in there on a date, for a post-work happy hour, a family dinner with all kids in tow, a girl's night out with the pickiest eater you know," he said, "and see that each person in the group can find at least 10 items or more on the menu that would suit their interests."
Tommy's in Mount Laurel will serve diners during the following hours:
Food
- Sunday through Thursday: 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- Friday and Saturday: 11 a.m. to midnight
Drinks
- Sunday: 11 a.m. to midnight
- Monday through Thursday: 11 a.m. to 1 a.m.
- Friday and Saturday: 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.
