Town Hall Meeting On Main Street Parking In Moorestown Set For April 12

EDAC Chairman Chris Chiacchio will lead the discussion focusing on options the township has explored since the last proposal was tabled.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — The Moorestown Economic Development Advisory Committee (EDAC) will host a town hall meeting to discuss parking on Main Street and the surrounding streets on Wednesday night, April 12, 7 p.m. at the library.

The discussion, which will be led by former mayor and EDAC Chairman Chris Chiacchio, will cover the options and alternatives available regarding parking meters, parking lots, and other issues surrounding municipal parking.

Mayor Manny Delgado and Councilman Mike Locatell, council liaison to EDAC, will represent the township at the meeting, and Moorestown Business Association (MBA) President Steve Pazienza will represent the MBA.

The most recent proposed ordinance on parking changes was tabled by council in November to give the township a little more time to explore the issues and get feedback from the community.
