Township Of Moorestown: Hydrant Flushing Take Take Place In October

The Public Works Department will be flushing fire hydrants from Oct. 1 to Oct. 31 between the hours of 10 p.m. and 2 a.m. This procedure is necessary to flush the water mains.  

Some discoloration of water and/or low water pressure may occur during this time.  It is advisable to check the water for discoloration prior to washing clothes.

If you have any questions please call Public Works at (856)235-3520 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. On evening and weekends, please call the Water Treatment Plant at (856)235-0550.
