Moorestown Residents Asked To Help Keep The Sewage Pipes Clear

Moorestown Township's Public Works Department asks that residents do not flush wipes down the toilet. Although marketed as "flushable," they do not fall apart when wet and therefore, are not biodegradable.When so called flushable wipes are flushed, they can cause clogs and backups in the township's sewer system resulting in expensive damage to equipment. Please, help keep the pipes clear and only flush toilet paper.
