Tractor Trailer, SUV Crash In Burlington County
The crash happened shortly after 9 p.m. in Shamong Township, New Jersey State Police tell Patch.
SHAMONG TOWNSHIP, NJ — A tractor trailer and an SUV were involved in a crash shortly after 9 p.m. on Thursday in Shamong Township, New Jersey State Police told Patch.
A tractor trailer was traveling north in the southbound lanes at mile marker 7 of U.S. Route 206 when it struck a Hyundai head on, according to police.
The driver of the tractor-trailer suffered minor injuries, while the driver of the Hyundai, Paul Picarelli, 24, of Shamong, was seriously hurt and airlifted to the hospital, police said.
