Traffic Signal Outage Shifts I-295 Traffic In Burlington County

The outage occurred around the cloverleaf interchange with Route 73, officials said.

MOUNT LAUREL, NJ — A traffic signal lost power Wednesday morning, shifting traffic on Interstate 295 in Burlington County.

The power failure occurred on the southbound ramp to Exit 36, which brings drivers to Route 73 on the cloverleaf interchange in Mount Laurel, according to the NJ Department of Transportation.

All lanes are open on I-295, but motorists cannot turn left to Nixon Drive, officials said.

There are also minor delays on Route 73 southbound from I-295 to Route 616/Church Road in Mount Laurel, according to NJDOT.
