MOORESTOWN, NJ — The Moorestown Tree Planting and Preservation Committee is fortunate to host a Tree Pruning Workshop conducted by the Rutgers Urban Forestry Program.

It will be held on Thursday, March 19, 1 p.m. — 3 p.m. at Wesley Bishop Park (site of the 2015 NJ Arbor Day), 1248 N Church St, Moorestown, NJ 08057.

They will meet across the street at the Moorestown Police Department, 1245 N Church Street, Suite 2, for about a half hour presentation then proceed to the park for some hands-on training.

Anyone interested in attending should email the Tree Committee at moorestowntrees@gmail.com.

You can bring your own hand pruning tools or there will be some available for use.Come out and join your neighbors to learn best practices for pruning your trees to improve their health and value.
