Truck Driver Sought In Crash That Closed South Jersey Road For 14 Hours: Police
Police say the semi truck driver fled after hitting a light pole, traffic standard, and electrical box one morning, causing a massive delay.

BURLINGTON, NJ — Police are looking for a tractor-trailer driver who they say fled after damaging utility equipment and causing a 14-hour road closure in Burlington County on October 6.
Police in the city of Burlington responded to the intersection of US-130 North and High Street at 6 a.m. that day for a reported crash.
Officers say a semi truck tried to make a right turn onto Route 130 from High Street, but went off the road and hit a utility pole, a traffic light standard, and an electrical box.

The truck driver fled the scene northbound on Route 130, Burlington Police said. The road was closed for about 14 hours because of the damage to the utility pole and traffic standard, police said.
Burlington City police are hoping the public can identify the tractor-trailer involved.
