This Tuesday, Get An Update On Lenola Town Center Project

MOORESTOWN TOWNSHIP, NJ— Representatives from McCormick Taylor will provide an update on the Lenola Town Center Improvements Camden Avenue (County Route 537) from Pennsauken Creek to Lenola Road project designer in Moorestown Township this week.

The company will provide the update from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 22, at Moorestown Town Hall, the township said on its website. The company will also answer any questions the public has about the project, the township added.

In 2018, the township received a $971,500 grant from the New Jersey Department of Transportation for construction costs related to the streetscape project that consists of multiple decorative and safety improvements for walkers, bicyclists, and drivers along the Camden Avenue corridor.

When a new council took over in 2019, the township applied for and received an additional $366,744 federal grant for preliminary engineering, final design and construction engineering costs not covered under the original grant award.
