Tuition Program To Provide Moorestown Schools With Alternative Funding, More Diverse Community
The district announced the launch of the program Tuesday morning.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — The Moorestown Public School District is introducing a Tuition Program designed provide the school district with an alternative source of income and to increase the diversity of students that come into the district from outside Moorestown.
The program is scheduled to begin with the 2017-18 school year and will accept students in grades K-12, the district announced Tuesday morning. The costs for the program range from $13,029 for kindergarten students to $15,681 for high school students.
“Revenue generated from the Tuition Program will allow the district to preserve the high level of staff and programs, to which students and parents have become accustomed,” Moorestown Superintendent of Schools Dr. Scott McCartney said. “As local and state resources are drained by budget constraints, the district looks to find creative ways to increase revenue while also maintaining Moorestown pride in its schools and programs.”
