Victim In Burlington County Double Shooting Identified

Police are still searching for the shooter in the early morning double shooting that killed one man and injured another in Willingboro.

WILLINGBORO, NJ — The man who was killed in a double shooting in Willingboro early Monday morning has been identified as the search for the shooter continues.

Davell Williamson, 21, of Willingboro, was fatally shot just before 1 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 18, while sitting in a car on Millbrook Drive, Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and Willingboro Township Public Safety Director Gregory Rucker announced.

Williamson was taken to Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County in Willingboro, where he was pronounced deceased, according to authorities. An autopsy was pending.

The identity of the passenger still has not been released. He was taken to Cooper University Hospital after being shot in the arm, authorities said. He has been treated and released.

No arrests had been made as of Wednesday morning. The Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office and the Willingboro Police Department are investigating the shooting.

According to a social media post, the viewing for Williamson will take place on Saturday, Feb. 23, at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 150 East 2nd Street in Burlington. The viewing is at 9 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 10 a.m.
