WATCH: 3 More Performances Of MTC's 'The Lion King' Start Tonight

MOORESTOWN, NJ — Three more performances of Moorestown Theater Company's (MTC) "The Lion King Jr." begin tonight, May 10, 6 p.m. at the William Allen Middle School theater, 801 North Stanwick Road. (Watch attached video preview made by one of the performers.)
The other performances are on Friday, May 11, 7 p.m.; and Saturday, May 12, 2 p.m. The production is a condensed version of the classic Disney musical and is MTC's annual spring Children's Musical.
A 78-member cast will perform this musical which features such memorable characters as "Simba,"
"Mufasa," "Scar," "Timon," "Pumba," "Zazu," and "Rafiki," and such great songs as "The Circle Of Life," "I Just Can't Wait To Be King," "Hakuna Matata" and the Academy Award-winning original song, "Can You Feel The Love Tonight."

Morgan is directing the production. He added that anyone who comes out to see the show will be wowed by the performances and the costume design by Thom Sirkot. Carol Ann Murray is the vocal director and Jody Haggerty is the choreographer.
Tickets are $12, and are reserved. They can be bought at www.MoorestownTheaterCompany.org or at the door in the lobby 60 minutes before curtain time. The theater will open 30 minutes before each curtain time. Call MTC at 856-778-8357 with any questions or to get group rate information.
