When Is Spring Leaf Collection In Moorestown?

The township has announced the dates for upcoming leaf collection.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — Moorestown will conduct its spring leaf collection throughout the month of May, according to a flier distributed during Monday night’s council meeting. Leaf collection will coincide with brush collection, and residents are advised to keep them in separate piles, as there will be separate crews for each collection. Leaves can’t be placed in the street and may not be within 10 feet of storm drain inlets.

Moorestown residents can either make a pile at the edge of their property, or put leaves in bags and put the bags at the curb. Public Works will only go through each district once, and leaves must be put out the Sunday before they are collected.

Leaf and brush collections are determined by trash collection, as follows:
  • Areas where trash is picked up on Monday are in District 1, and leaves will be collected the week of May 1;
  • Areas where trash is picked up on Tuesday are in District 2, and leaves will be collected the week of May 8;
  • Areas where trash is picked up on Wednesday are in District 3, and leaves will be collected the week of May 15; and
  • Areas where trash is picked up on Thursday are in District 4, and leaves will be collected the week of May 22.
