Woman Struck And Killed In Burlington Co. Crash

She was pronounced dead at the scene of the early-morning collision.

FLORENCE, NJ — A vehicle struck and killed a pedestrian Friday morning in Florence Township, authorities said.

It happened around 5:45 a.m. on the 1000 block of Florence-Columbus Road, just off Interstate 295. The pedestrian — a 41-year-old woman from Camden — was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have not shared the woman's name or the circumstances of the crash as of 2:30 p.m. Friday.

The road was closed for several hours after the collision.
