The World through a Lens on Main Street

Beneficial Bank in Moorestown hosts an Exhibit of Joe Perno's Photography

For the second time this year, Beneficial Bank on Main Street in Moorestown has been transformed into an art gallery. Dozens of exquisite images captured by Moorestown photographer Joe Perno will be on display in the bank’s lobby from October 9 to November 9. Stunning sunsets, seascapes, views of Philadelphia, and Moorestown scenes are among the shots that Perno has taken at precise moments to reflect their beauty and tell a unique story. The exhibition is open to the public.

Perno has been practicing the art of photography for over 25 years, exploring the world around us and looking for the beauty that we too often take for granted. “I am excited that the public will have the opportunity to see Joe’s stunning work. He is a hidden gem in Moorestown, who has an incredible talent for using his lens to capture nature and especially the sky in all its variations,” explains Beneficial’s Manager Arpita Saha. “We are delighted that our lobby will be a venue for people to enjoy these images.”

The exhibition of Perno’s photography is another project supported by Moorestown Creates, Sustainable Moorestown’s arts committee formed to promote the arts in Moorestown. “We are appreciative of Beneficial Bank’s willingness and enthusiasm to create a space where the public can experience art in our town,” said Moorestown Creates Chair Georgean Wardzinski. “This kind of project really enriches the community.”
