The Rubber Band Bus Tour is a traveling program intended to unite everyone in support of youth who have been abused, neglected and abandoned.
Its goal is to raise awareness about the long-term impact of trauma resulting from abuse. CTS also wants to send a message that it stands behind victims of abuse.

“We know that many traumatized youth have medical symptoms and challenges, trust and behavioral issues, poor school performance, depression, anger and feelings that they are unlovable and hopeless,” the group said in a statement on Friday. “While our collective voice cannot change these youths' experiences, it can express our dedication to providing opportunities that will give them a voice and let them know we hear them.”
The rubber band ball is making stops at events, public and private sites and locations where people have the opportunity to add rubber bands, take photos and generally be part of the effort.
There is no cost to have the ball come to a specific location, but donations are appreciated. Events are publicized through CTS social media and website postings.
All participants will have the opportunity to get their name entered for the record, have their picture taken for social media postings and receive a CTS Rubber Band Bus wristband.
