YMCA of Burlington and Camden Counties Announces New Board Members

The YMCA of Burlington and Camden Counties has announced the addition of three new members to its Board of Governors.

The YMCA of Burlington and Camden Counties has announced the addition of three new members to its Board of Governors: Steve Goodman of Audubon, Sherry Ellis Knight of Burlington, and Mark W. Sulpizio of Moorestown. Each will serve two-year terms. Board members are responsible for strategic planning, policy development, raising awareness and fundraising – all to forward the Y’s cause of strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.

“We are pleased to welcome these established professionals to our Board of Governors,” said Tim Kerrihard, President and CEO, YMCA of Burlington and Camden Counties. “Their diverse expertise and will help us to further Y’s mission of providing much needed programs and services to the residents of Burlington and Camden Counties.”

Steve Goodman is Senior Account Manager for Black Lab Apparel and Promotions and has worked in the marketing and branding industry for over 20 years. He currently serves as Chair of the Y’s Camden County Advisory Board, and has served as a member of this volunteer board for over three years. He resides in Audubon with his wife and their two children.

Sherry Ellis Knight is the Principal of both Elias Boudinot Elementary School and Captain James Lawrence Elementary School in Burlington City. Employed in Burlington City for 12 years, she is a two-time winner of the New Jersey Principal’s and Supervisor’s Award. She resides in Burlington with her husband and their two children.

Mark W. Sulpizio is a founding partner of Moorestown-based Innovative Benefit Planning, LLC - a financial and employee benefit consulting firm. He is a long time member of both the Moorestown Breakfast Rotary Club and Vistage International. Over the years, he has volunteered for various youth sports organizations and currently serves as President of the Moorestown Quakers Ice Hockey Club. He resides in Moorestown with his wife and their three children.
