100 Best Places in New Jersey to Raise a Family

Just in time for Father’s Day, Niche.com took a look at the best places to raise a family in states across the country.

According to its rankings, New Jersey offers more than a few possibilities.

In the national rankings, Devon, Pennsylvania earned top honors. Five New Jersey towns made the national list: Short Hills (9), Heathcote (38), West Windsor (42), South Brunswick, Dayton section (53) and Montgomery Township in Somerset County (100).

The lists were created using information about public schools, crime rates, cost of living and family-friendly amenities. Data was pulled from the U.S. Census, FBI, BLS, CDC and other sources, according to Niche.
