The large search through the township on Tuesday ended in the arrests of two men.

MORRIS TWP, NJ — Two men were arrested after a large police search in Morris Township Tuesday morning.
Meshach Whagar, 28, of Newark, and Tione Davis, 35, of East Orange, were arrested this week after crashing their car during a police chase and setting off a township wide search for them.
Around 1:15 a.m. on Tuesday, police tried to stop the two for having the wrong registration tag, police said. Whagar and Davis allegedly sped away from police, eventually crashing into a telephone pole on Hanover Ave before running away on foot.
