5 Cars Burglarized In Morris Township

One car had the owner's manual stolen.

MORRIS TWP, NJ— Five cars were burglarized in the Fairchild section of Morris Township last night, police said, and all five cars were unlocked.

Cash and property were taken from the cars, but one car had its owner's manual removed.

"If your vehicle owner’s manual is in your car, is there a spare key in the manual? Is the vehicle identification number in the manual? The vehicle owner’s manual may have information that a thief may want in order to steal your car," Chief John. McGuinness wrote on Facebook.
