$50K Winning Lottery Ticket Sold In Morris Plains

The winning ticket was purchased at a Stop & Shop in Morris Plains.

MORRIS PLAINS, NJ — A lucky lottery player who purchased a ticket from a Stop & Shop in Morris Plains won a $50,000 prize during the May 14 drawing.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Stop & Shop at 245 Littleton Road in Morris Plains. This winner held one of the lucky tickets that matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball. The second winning ticket, also from Morris County, was purchased at Speedway Gas, 386 Dover Chester Road in Randolph.

The winning numbers were: 06, 40, 41, 45 and 52. The Red Power Ball number was 09 and the Power Play was 3X.

There were 21,365 other New Jersey players who took home an estimated $124,933 in prizes ranging from $4 to $300.
