Art Classes at the Morris Museum: Abstract Expressionism - I

This class is all about creating mood and emotion on the canvas in creative ways. With the use of acrylic paint, students will be encouraged to work intuitively, layering their canvases with pumice, gels and molding paste, and applying the mediums with both usual and unusual objects. Discussions, demonstrations and individual instruction will be given at each class. Prior knowledge of drawing and painting is not necessary. This is a great opportunity for both the beginner and more advanced student to “play” in paint with artist Fran Mann Goodman.

The class runs for 8 Wednesdays, from 9/30-11/18, from 10:00am to 12:30pm.
