Children, Parents Gather for Reading of 'The Polar Express'

Young children and their parents gathered at the Morris Plains Barnes and Noble on Dec. 10 for a reading of the popular holiday classic, The Polar Express. The book, by Chris Van Allsburg, won the 1986 Caldecott Medal and tells the story of a magical train ride to the North Pole.
