Elderly Woman Mugged In Hanover, Police Seek Answers

Police ask anyone with information to contact them.

HANOVER, NJ— An elderly woman was mugged in Hanover earlier this month, and police are asking the public for help.

On Feb. 4, a woman police described as "elderly" was attacked on Vista Drive, off of Ridgedale Avenue, police said in a statement.

Two men attacked her and demanded her purse in the afternoon robbery. According to police, both men were black.

The victim told police there was an eyewitness at the scene who offered to call police.

Hanover Police ask that someone who witnessed the attack, or has any knowledge of it, call the police department at 973-428-2512 and ask to speak with a detective.
